Bio-Foam Insulation partners with AgSeal in Kentucky and NW Tenessee, to install insulation foam for poultry applications. Created to help American growers and farmers combat the rising fuel cost associated with raising their animals, and to combat insect and rodent damage, AgSeal is an environmentally responsible solution.

AgSeal Process

The poulty house is sealed to reduce heat loss and gain. By sealing the house, heat lost is reduced, lowering fuel consumption by 30% to 35%. The sealing also greatly increases the percentage of air forced through the cool cells and into the house during the summer months, helping to cool the house as well.

After the house is sealed, the option of the installation of a a wood pellet biomass furnace that works in unison with existing systems is available; this reduces natural gas consumption by 35-40%.

A case study conducted by the University of Georgia Copperative Extension demonstrates through thermal imaging the benefits of using AgSeal.
